Running X-Plane11.5 - Torquesim SR22. I recently subscribed to Navigraph since IFR procedures were mostly out of date on Native G1000. When I updated to 2410 rev1 there are still out of date SIDS. Specifically, at KDEN the Lastest SID should be the ROCKIES6 (as of 5/2024) and the G1000 database shows ROCKI5 in the SR22. I’m not sure how to verify that I am properly updated.
Hi…,
The ROCKI6 SID exists in the X-Plane 11 Cessna Skyhawk (G1000):
and in the Zibo 737-800X:
How have you updated your Torquesim SR22?
As I understand the RealSimGear Cirrus uses the TorqueSim SR22 Series aircraft, which I believe uses the standard X-Plane 11 default aircraft data.

My understanding was that the x-plane G1000 would automatically pull the data from the custom data folder where FMS downloaded the data. What is the procedure to update each aircraft?

Assuming it uses the standard X-Plane 11 default aircraft data, you would use the X-Plane 11 (11.50+) entry. Make sure you have the correct X-Plane 11 path in Settings.

The path is correct and the KDEN.dat file in custom data folder contains the updated ROCKI6 SID… any other ideas on why it shows ROCKI5 in the G1000 FMS?
I even copied all of the .dat files to the default directory. To see if that did anything. I even searched my entire computer for ROCKI5 and nothing was found! It is really a mystery at this point.

I don’t have the Torquesim SR22, but I believe it uses the same X-Plane default aircraft data.
Check the default G1000 to confirm ROCKI6 SID. If it exists, you might check with Torquesim SR22 support.

How would I check the default G1000? I’m assuming the c172 that came with xplane? That one also shows ROCKI5

I showed the ROCKI6 for the default G1000 above. So you aren’t updating it correctly.
Make sure you have the correct path in Settings and in Addon List, update the X-Plane 11.50 I showed above.
Cheers
Ian
It seems you may be using a Mac?
Please check and post the X-Plane 11 path setting from FMS Data Manager Settings:
.Press Save.
In Addon Mappings select and Remove X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 11 addons.
Press Scan to redetect .
Press Save
In Addon List Select and Update X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 11 addons.
Cheers
Ian
Yes, macbook pro. All of the *.dat files are stored in:
Hi,
Sorry if I interfere here, but to be sure, do you have only one X-Plane 11 copy on your system? So, do you have multiple installations? Can you confirm this?
You also start X-Plane from the path /Users/brandonkey/X-Plane 11
. Can you also confirm this?
Cheers,
Richard
Only one install and yes x-plane is executed from that path
Do you know where the X1000 (x-plane G1000) pulls the SIDS and other instrument procedures from? Which folder?

I must have downloaded FAA data a few years ago. I have an earth_424.dat files

Those take precedence over other forms of native data, so to get the Navigraph data you need to delete this file.

Does the Navigraph data have more features than the FAA data in the US?

That I do not know. I don’t think it has any less features but I can’t be sure. The other option is to update your earth_424.dat

Tim
Hi,
I’m not sure what you mean by “feature.” The main difference is the supported areas. The FAA data contain only the US area, while our data are worldwide.

Richard
