Long time ago there was the same problem with the last version. Now, with the new version the problem is back: Downloader dont start. The Waiting circle rotate and rotate. After some minutes i can click wait or abort. When i abort and start new, all beginns again.
Sometimes after 30min or so it start, sometimes not.
My internet connection is the same as ever. And its OK. Already startet the router new. The problem comes with the update!
For me the update needed also 45min.

It is unlikely that your issue with the SimBrief Downloader not starting is due to a SimBrief update. Otherwise, we would see many reports.
We see you had problems previously. You might like to try some of the suggestions at Simbrief loading problem - #16 by SimBrief
Also, as a test, please try connecting to the internet via a different route, e.g, via a hotspot on your mobile phone. This will hopefully shed more light on where the problem is occurring.
