Hi,
I’ve installed the latest AIRAC 2603, but the Navdata in the Fenix is stil an old one, at EDDK there is RWY 14L and 32R, these were renamed to 13L and 31L 2 years ago.
Another Pilot of our VA have the same problem in the Fenix.
I’ve uninstalled und reinstalled the AIRAC a few times, but t
Never had this issue before
Hi,
Can you post a screenshot of your FMCU ident page, please, showing that you have installed AIRAC 2603 correctly?
Like mine:
That is what I see:
I assume you are using an outdated Fenix version, or you haven´t installed the AIRAC correctly. So please post a screenshot of the ident page.
Thank you
Richard
I’ve installed everything with the Navdata App….There must me something different, because some more problems of our va have this prolem.
… and everything would work, when you are using the latest Fenix version …
You are NOT using 2603 as you mentioned; you are using an outdated cycle, 2403 … that’s the default cycle from Fenix. Please update your Fenix addon to the latest version, then reinstall the AIRAC cycle. That’s not a navdata issue, it´s an issue on your end - you are not using the latest Fenix build.
Cheers,
Richard
PS: latest build version is v2.4.0.3311
I have the latest Fenix version…. This is not the issue.
Instead of helping, the fault is being placed on me. However, I didn’t have any issues with any of the previous AIRACs—only with the latest one. It seems that the newest AIRAC is somehow corrupted and cannot be read by Fenix, so it falls back to an older backup.
Since several people are now experiencing this issue, it can’t be that I did something wrong.
You do believe it or not …
Please post a screenshot of the Fenix configuration page:
… also, please confirm that you have removed/reinstalled the Fenix AIRAC cycle. After that, start the sim and look what happened. When both are done, and your system is configured correctly, you should see the correct AIRAC cycle.
When one of your friends have the same issue, why don´t we see any reports here?
Maybe someone else can show a screenshot of the ident page with the cycle and EDDK with the correct runways to verify my postings. Thank you!
Cheers,
Richard
Have done that, still the same issue
Ok, thank you, open the cycle_info.txt - what cycle do you see? If this is not enough for you, you can also open nd.db3 file in a SQLite browser and look at the config table. When you see this, you can be sure that you have the correct database installed in the correct place.
So, it seems you have any other issue, but it´s not a navdata issue … I would recommend asking Fenix because what the Navigraph Hub does is put the files into this folder. Nothing more and nothing less.
Cheers,
Richard
This is the txt

Ok, so the data are installed correctly …
Please, ask Fenix what is going wrong here. You have the latest data installed (as you see). It is not a navdata issue, and we can´t do more here.
Thank you!
Cheers,
Richard
I’ve asked Fenix before, they told me is an corrupted Airac cycle and I’ve to contact you
Hm, strange - why don´t they inform us then? Do you have a ticket number or a reference for me, please? I will ask … but the file is NOT corrupt.
Here is my folder:
When you compare the file sizes, you see I use EXACTLY! the same file as you… So no corrupt file. Also, I have asked a customer here to verify my answers …
Again, it is not a navdata issue… but I will ask Fenix why they mean that the file is corrupt.
Cheers,
Richard
Could this be a sim issue? I am using MSFS2024. The pilot with the same problem n in our VA told me, the problem started after the new Netherlands City Update.
I’ve contacted Fenix in Discord yesterday.
Very unlikely, but I don´t know. I have also installed the new update, and it works correctly.
Ok via Discord, in the public Discord, right? So I can look into it and use it as a reference, thank you.
Cheers,
Richard
Please can you give me the link to this posting? I can´t find it, sorry …
Cheers
Richard
It was DM, how can I paste the link to it.?But I also opened a ticket but dont’t get any reply stikl.
I ve posted the link to this thread to the pilots with the same problem, perhaps it wouls be easier when more people were involved?
I guess, you can´t - so please post the whole conversation, that I have a reference. With whom has you talked (Nickname on Discord)?
Cheers
Richard
Hello, I’m the VA colleague and I can confirm the error. I just haven’t reported it yet. I updated via the Navigraph Hub and still had an old AIRAC on my Fenix. I’ve now updated a second time and it’s fine. If the error reappears, I’ll get in touch again. Please remain polite; we in the VA are already discussing the tone here. Regards, Thomas
