Can somebody please advise why content manager is showing latest airac not installed is there something else I need to do ? I want to use beta in the sim.

Welcome.
Yes there is a bug in MSFS Content Manager suggesting installed addons are “NOT INSTALLED” If they appear there, they are indeed installed.
