Navigraph Jeppesen charts out of date?

I have just come across charts for EGTK which have not been updated: 4 Nov 22 is the latest Jeppesen chart for the NDB ILS DME 19 approach to reflect the revised higher ILS minima.

It is not an issue that I have encountered before when I compared newly-issued Jeppesen charts to the ones in Navigraph (I am a real-world pilot and often use Navigraph to view the charts in large size from the comfort from my large PC monitor).

Could this be due to the recent Jeppesen cyber attack and could this affect other FMS data in Navigraph?

Hi,

It is not related to the issues at Jeppesen, and that doesn’t affect the FMS Data or charts deliveries.

The issue here is that Navigraph doesn’t update the charts weekly but every 4 weeks (with the AIRAC cycle schedule). Some charts are revised between cycles but we currently don’t publish these before the next AIRAC cycle.

Kind regards,
Stephen

Thanks for the quick reply, Stephen, and good to understand your update cycles and makes a lot of sense!

Interesting, I wasn’t thinking that the chart in question I guess was technically between cycles as it has an effective date of 4 Nov 2022 which is one day after the start of the AIRAC cycle 11 (3 Nov 2022). It must have been Jeppesen reacting to the 17 Oct 2022 NOTAM that raised the OCA/OCH for the approach.
