Navigraph FMS updater not detecting add-ons

My FMS data manager is not detecting my XPL12 addons on my windows desktop (though it works fine on my mac for some reason). Its not detecting my X-Craft e175, FF777v2, etc.

How do I get it to detect my add-ons?

Thanks

Your X-Plane 12 path should be C:\X-Plane 12\

Cheers
Ian

Hi Ian,

It still doesn’t work unfortunately
VMc5EHj
after a scan it still doesn’t detect any add-ons.

In FMS Data Manager Settings, check the X-Plane 12 path is the folder containing your X-Plane.exe.

Press Save

  • In Addon Mappings select and Remove any X-Plane 12 and X-Plane 12 Addon entries.

  • Press Save, Scan, then Save. X-Plane 12 and X-Plane 12 Addon entries should be detected.

  • In Addon List, select and Update X-Plane 12 and X-Plane 12 Addon entries.

Cheers
Ian

Hey Ian,

After following your steps it still isn’t detecting any Add-ons.
You can see what I did in this video I quickly recorded.

I have also tried moving my FF777v2 into the laminar research folder and that didn’t work either

Thank you

Please move your aircraft folders to c:\X-Plane 12\Aircraft.

Ian

Hey Ian,

It still doesn’t work, I moved my airplanes to the “C:\X-Plane 12\Aircraft” folder and it still can’t detect my add-ons.
Is there a log file I can send? What can I do to debug this?

Below is a video of me trying out putting it in the aircraft folder.

Thank you

In Addon Mappings, please Remove X-Plane 12 entry. Press Save. Press Scan. Press Save.

Using image, please upload c:\ProgramData\Navigraph\FMSClient\settings.conf

Ian

Hey Ian,

Once again it is not working. I attached a few files that might help debug, as well as a recording of the deleting the X-Plane mapping and re-scanning. Furthermore I tried re-installing it though that doesn’t seem to have worked, though I am new to windows.

Mapping: mapping.index - Google Drive
Config: settings.conf - Google Drive
One log: 20250430-005242.log - Google Drive
Another log: 20250430-005858.log - Google Drive
Deleting XPL12 mapping: https://youtu.be/VW4KDw6CeA0

Thanks Ian

Hmmm, lets try Manual Downloads:

Try downloading and installing X-Plane 12 for starters. You will ned to unzip to c:\X-Plane 12\Custom Data\

Ian

One additional question, only as a confirmation:

Is your XP12 installed at C:\X-Plane 12?

Is this correct?

Cheers
Richard

That is correct. It had previously installed nav data for X-Plane(I tested it in zibo 737), but X-Plane only and not any of my Add-ons (ie ff777v2). You can see this in some of the recordings I’ve sent.

Hey Ian

This works as a temporary solution, thanks!
Though, where do I put the ff777v2 files/find file locations for each add-on?

Thanks
