For the past few days, Navigraph Charts on MSFS 2024 EFB has been extremely slow, and causes the sim to stutter - and sometimes freeze - when asking it to take an action, like pulling up a new chart.
This happens with all aircraft I use - including Fenix and Ini A350. Just now, in the A350, sim was stuttering every few seconds, until I pulled up the EFB and clicked away from Charts, after which the sim resumed normal function.
Any idea why Charts via MSFS EFB is presumably taking so much processing power that it’s causing these issues? Have never seen it before now. Also, the problem seems confined to the MSFS EFB. Using Charts integrated with the aircraft’s EFB seems to work just fine. Thx.

We introduced a new Charts version 8.40.1 on 17 Dec 25. Make sure you have this downloaded and installed.
Check if you have installed any Windows or graphic card drivers since before these issues.
Yours is the first report of stutters of recent.

Thank you. I am sending a photo of my Hub, as I don’t see the version you referenced, though I did update all packages that showed as requiring this when I updated to the latest AIRAC cycle on the 25th. Not does anything currently show as out of date.
Also, I have not updated any drivers since.
Sorry, I just opened the Charts app, and saw that it was ready for the update you mentioned. So, I did the upgrade. I didn’t think the Charts app was tied to the sim EFB in any way, but if I’m wrong and upgrading the app does have an effect on the EFB integration, please let me know. Thx.
