I can’t unload flights in the Navigraph app on my phone
(i.e.) I have to close the app and then reopen to load a new flight
Hi…,
Try removing and reinstalling Navigraph Charts from your phone.
If the issue persists, please try an alternative internet connection, such as a hotspot on your mobile device. Please post screenshot(s) showing the issue.
Cheers
Ian
I removed and reinstalled Navigraph Charts on my phone but this made no difference.
I can usually load or unload a flight, if one exists upon launching, but after that the app freezes and I have to close and reopen it.
What phone are you using?
Make -
Model -
OS version -
Thanks,
Samsung
Galaxy S23 FE
Android OS 16
Thanks for that. Some steps to follow
- When you reinstall the app, it may have retained data so its good practice to purge the storage.
- Settings → Apps → Charts → Storage & Cache → Clear Storage
- Update Android wherever possible (WebView/Chrome)
- Samsung Battery/Restrictions
- Samsung Device Care can be rather aggressive. If the Charts app is being throttled, it could corrupt critical data.
- Settings → Apps → Charts → Battery → Set to Unrestricted/check that the Charts app is not in the “Sleeping Apps” list.
- Confirm the Charts app version. Make absolutely sure that Charts is updated to the latest version, 8.44.0 as of today.
Checked and re-implemented 1-4
Still have the same issue.
How are you attempting to unload a flight? It may simply be that you are unable to locate the correct button to do so?
Unfortunately I don’t use Android so I cannot give specific guidance, but if it is similar to iOS, you select the Flight Tab (from the “tab” bar at the very bottom), and the Unload button is located on the left, above the flight’s name/title (near the middle of the screen on my device). Clicking it unloads the flight.
Or are you saying that you found the Unload button, but that tapping it has no effect?
Regards,
Tim
Yes, I found the Unload button, and tapping it has no effect.
I see; thanks for the clarification.

Tim
Just so we can confirm all suggest steps have been performed in the thread
- Charts in the browser - Does this react any differently? Are you able to unload the flight there?
- Test with a brand new flight, something very basic like ESSA to EGLL, then try unloading that.
- Try a different network connection - Switch the phone to a different network, or another phone’s mobile hotspot etc just so we can isolate any network related issues.
- Please try and record the screen, it would be super helpful for us to see whats going on.
Yes, all suggested steps have been performed.
Charts in the browser on my PC work as expected but not on my phone.
Also tried on cellular data with my phone instead of my network. No difference.
Same issue with suggested flight (i.e. ESSA to EGLL) after Unloading it.
Edit button not functional and can not load any listed flight until I close and reopen the app
Thanks, we’ll investigate further.
