Navigraph and Simbrief icons missing from toolbar

Navigraph and Simbrief icons are missing from the toolbar; the “Navigraph charts in game panel” and Simbrief Dispach software are installed by Navigraph Hub and visible in the community file.

May I have your assistance?

Thank you for considering my request.

I’m flying in MSFS 2020

I talk about the toolbar on the main screen (see attachment).

“Navigraph-ingamepanels-charts” is in community file, and is installed in MSFS; I can see it in the “content manager” folder.

Hi Jack,

In MSFS 2020 Content Manager, there isn’t a disable package facility.

Hence, please try:

  • Disable any antivirus and firewall
  • Restart the machine
  • In Hub Remove Navigraph Charts In-Game Panel
  • Restart the machine
  • In Hub Install Navigraph Charts In-Game Panel
  • Start MSFS 2020

Hello Ian,

Thank you for your advice, which I have applied twice, but unfortunately, the Navigraph icon still does not appear in the MSFS 2020 toolbar. I have checked that the tab in this menu is not hidden and disabled.

In Custom Toolbar, make sure you have Navigraph Charts selected with button to the right:

Please confirm you are not using Addon Linker. Also, check that you scrolled down in the custom toolbar menu. You may find Navigraph Charts there turned off. Please turn it on.

I use addon linker, I have scrolled through the toolbar, I confirm that the Navigraph tab is not there.

Checking, I meant to scroll down in the list to see if Navigraph Charts is there and turned on.

Please try:

  • Disable Navigraph Charts in the Addon Linker
  • Copy navigraph-ingamepanels-charts directly into the real MSFS Community folder
  • Start MSFS 2020.

I use Addon Linker, but only for scenery, not for applications like Navigraph. With your hub, Navigraph installs correctly in the “community” folder.

I can confirm that Navigraph is not in the drop-down menu of the toolbar.

Hi Jack,

You may have a toolbar utility that conflicts with the Navigraph toolbar apps. I am thinking of TheFlightSimKit.

I suggest:

  • Use Hub to Remove Navigraph In-Game-Panel and SimBrief Dispatch
  • Move all apps from the Community folder to a temporary folder.
  • Use Hub to Install Navigraph In-Game Panel and SimBrief Dispatch.
  • If these now show and work in MSFS 2020, then move each app one at a time from the temporary folder back into the Community folder, testing the toolbar after each move. This should help to determine which app causes the toolbar problem with Navigraph apps.

Hi Ian,

I removed the “Just Flight FS Traffic” software from my community folder, as it was causing the problem. I now have the Navigraph and Simbrief icons. Thank you for your assistance and for considering my request. Thanks to the Navigraph team, who allow us to dream and experience our flights as if they were real. Best of luck.
