We have published a new version of Navigraph Academy. This release includes the new course “Instrument Flying” and updates to the web learning system. Navigraph Academy remains 100% free and this update improves on many features of our learning system and expands the in game lessons.
Changes:
- New course: Instrument Flying.
- New live tracking map that is shown on the website when a lesson is being flown in game.
- New functionality to ask system to analyze a flight right away, if flight is detected as stopped, without having to wait for the flight to auto-end.
- Post flight analysis page has been upgraded with improved UX (including larger chart, fixed position manouvre list, manouvre details in expandable accordion and more).
- Improved clarity on post flight debriefing scoring texts to make it more clear why lesson was marked as incomplete or failed.
- Updated Navigraph Academy Cessna 172 User Guide to now include instrument approach procedures.
- Minor tweaks to slow flight detection algorithm. Altitude unstable slow flights should not be split into several segments as much anymore.
- Minor updates to in game texts and briefings on VPPL course to improve clarity.
