I’m having a weird issue where my Navdata is not showing SIDS or STARS for any airport despite the numerous amounts of reinstalls I’ve performed. When I load in FS24’s default navdata it magically works fine with the newest cycle of 2608 without navigraph installed. I don’t know how or why that is when I usually install the newest navdata anyways when there is a new cycle. Cycle 2609 is coming up around the corner so let’s see if it will be affected.
With that being said, I am experiencing all of the following:
Unable to Direct To fixes on SIDs, STARs or different RNAV fixes and intersections (if they arent available)
Unable to see the drawn line to the SID, STAR, or fix on maps (I tried this with the CJ4 the fixes don’t show up at all, however flightfx C750 shows the fixes except there isn’t a white line connecting to each fix)
CDI of any aircraft always show a 0.0NM distance to the fix without the Course aligning to it (depending on if its a procedure or a normal fix/intersection it will cooperate correctly)
Flight management computers on certain aircraft using internal navdata will be bricked not allowing to change to different procedures. (TDS Garmins not affected for me since it is externally installed)
These troubleshooting procedures were done with and without community mods which produce the same results. At the same rate as to experimenting with different aircraft.
This might be a headache to the devs reading this but I hope you all are doing well.

So, can you confirm that this also happens when your community folder is completely empty (so no other packages are included), excluding the Navigraph packages? Is this correct?

For the Navigraph addons it’s only the Navdata affected downloading the other addons from the Hub doesn’t seem to affect anything. It’s only the Nav database.
Please can you move all packages out of your community folder, excluding the Navigraph packages. Delete your content file and restart your sim. After that, please try it again.
It is really important that you move all packages out of the community folder for this test.
You don´t need to delete it - simple move it out of the community folder on some other place, where the sim have no access.
I have misspoke on the last post that was with navigraph disabled through the library.
I’m having the issue once again with navigraph cycle installed and enabled through the library. The fixes don’t show in the MFD neither showing where it is on the CDI of the aircraft. With Navigraph disabled I’m getting duplicate waypoints but everything works as it should.

Looks very strange, even when you don’t use our data. I’m not sure about the core issue here, but I guess you should try to fix your issues without our data before you try our data.
Have you thought about installing MSFS2024 again? Again, the core sim should work as expected first, so no broken procedures, no double waypoints, … After that, I would start installing our data in the vanilla state, checking when ok → installing scenery per scenery.
In most (nearly all) cases, a 3rd-party package is the culprit and has nothing to do with the stock or any 3rd-party navdata.
Sorry that I can’t help you more here, but again, at least all should work normally with the stock data first. In that case, I would go forward.
Unfortunately I have tested that theory but unfortunately I have no luck. I’m going to try again in a little while. For now lets see if deleting the sim’s roaming folder will do anything but, let’s try that tomorrow. I’ll also wait on Cycle 2609 if it will change anything in particular. I will update back here tomorrow.
Alright, thanks for your update - enjoy your evening! I don’t want to be too negative, but I’m guessing that also the new cycle (stock and our data) will not solve your issue, like self-healing

Okay today is another day and I have made a different approach. I set up my community folder to be in the default C: drive and see if that does anything. I ran the sim completely vanilla no mods active except the streamed flight sim base packages. This time the nav waypoints do not show on the procedures without navigraph installed to the sim.
No GPS track was showing where I was and how far I am from DAYAK fix on the MELLZ2 departure
I’ve tested this time with Navigraph enabled. My results show that both default navdata and navigraph are entirely unusable with FS2024. It just made my issue a lot worse. I’m leaning to try to uninstall every Navigraph program I have. I have the BCUninstaller I use to get rid of random programs I don’t need and it helped me remove the programs from the Windows Registry.
Okay so I have set my community folder in a different directory now not hogging my C Drive. Ran the simulator without Navigraphs database and disabled the sim’s default Navdata. Obviously this will render it useless searching for fixes but nonetheless. I’m reinstalling the navigraph databases again through the fresh program reinstall. I’m still met with SIDs and STARs completely broken despite fs navdata being disabled. I’ve run out of options at this point.
It’s with regret that I cannot receive the newest navdata anymore after a reinstall of the entire game without navigraph installed and with it installed. I don’t know if I’ll be able to recover my sim to how it was before.
If anyone is willing to provide a solution I’m more than happy to work with you.
If a clean install of MSFS 2024 without any mods whatsoever doesn’t provide a working MSFS 2024 with default data, you may need to contact MS/ASOBO or search their forums.
You need this working before you add Navigraph data.
I was able to restore the sim to the default state as if I was starting as a new player. Disabled Steam Cloud to restore to default for the sim settings. Loaded up the CJ4 at a random airport with procedures. Sure the procedures work but the sim’s navdata didnt have all the IFR airways as expected. I have noticed that Navigraph Hub installed the Cycle 2608. Out of curiosity, how big are each navigraph files respectively? The base and the jepp files exactly. I want to see if the filesize is the same as mine, if there is any data missing.
Anyways, installed Navigraph data, low and behold the SIDs and STARs are now working as intended. However, with the flight plan I’m currently referencing there’s an airway thats missing inside of KZMA airspace near the Bahamas islands. The GPS fixes are there but the airway is not in the database. This airway is the Y308 airway starting from MADIZ all the way down to ACONY North of Puerto Rico island. The MIA2 departure procedure is not present on Navigraph data. I’m not sure whether if this is an issue with the data I received or whether it’s an issue on my end. I’m unsure if the issue is solved but I will check back here for more info.
You can confirm that your community folder is empty, excluding the navigraph packages

As I have mentioned before (and now Ian), it is HIGHLY!!! Recommended to get a state where the SIM works 100% correctly. So, remove the Navigraph Hub and the sim via the normal procedure (official uninstall procedure), don’t try this or that, or try to tweak something.
After that, reboot your PC and install the sim again with all the default settings first; don’t move the community folder, rolling cache, or other things. Don’t install more, no addons, no mods, no sceneries, nothing.
Last, make your test - again in this completely vanilla state. When all your tests are positive, install the Navigraph Hub again and the data. Make the SAME!! tests again, but now with our data.
My assumption is that your system is not correctly configured somewhere, which results in this strange issue. We can’t do more here till we start from a working baseline.
The missing airways was just the specific aircraft I was using that was causing the issue not seeing some of the airways. Using different aircraft equipment definitely affects it. Climbing via the SID worked perfectly in the Citation X. I was able to DIR TO fixes as shown on the flight plan. I may as well have solved my issue. Thanks to the Navigraph team for their patience and releasing wonderful products. It’s been a rough ride.
TLDR
I had to remove the Steam userdata restoring my settings everytime I reinstall the game. After it was deleted and reinstalled the sim, it entirely reverted back to default as if I was a new player. I loaded up navigraph and the issue is resolved. Sorry for the confusion Richard. I hope all is well on your end.
