My SimBrief id does not connect to FBW

Good day, my SimBrief id does not connect to FBW.
When I enter my id in my fbw tablet, it resets after a while for some reason.

I also encountered the same problem. It worked fine at first, but after using it for a while, the ID field became unrecognizable. I have tried deleting the files in appdata and reinstalling fbw, but it has no effect. Navigraph can be bound but the SimBrief ID cannot be recognized. I have tried both the pilot ID and the account, but it doesnā€™t work. I even tried deleting msfs and reinstalling it, but it doesnā€™t work. Can you help me

I have seen that you have multiple Navigraph accounts ā€¦ Please check, if youĀ“re using the same account (cyho810115) in Simbrief too. Can you confirm this?

Can you confirm, that youĀ“re using cyho810115 in SimBrief too now and do you use the SimBrief PilotID from this account?

Can you make a screenshot from SimBrief and the FBW please, where we see that the PilotID?

I changed my account, but the ID is still the same. I filled in the account number or ID into EFB, but it took a long time before it showed TYPE ERROR.

Before my Username was changed to cyho810115, and after the change, the Pilot ID was the same.

Hi,

The settings look correct. I donā€™t see any reason why FlyByWire wouldnā€™t be able to load your latest flight plan. You might have to contact their support through their Discord, maybe itā€™s a bug on their end.

One last thing to try, simply delete the user ID you have entered into the FBW EFB. You shouldnā€™t need to provide it if you have linked your Navigraph account.

If you only connect to Navigraph, the EFB only has a chart function and cannot download Simbrief routes to the EFB.

Are you sure? ā€œOverride SimBrief User IDā€ implies that it should only be used to override your ID with a different one, if need be. If you leave it blank, it should use the ID that is associated with your Navigraph account.

Anyways, my advice still stands. Youā€™ll need to contact FlyByWire support about this Iā€™m afraid.

What do you mean with ā€œin the backgroundā€?

As Derek wrote, when you leave the ID empty, it will take automatically from your navigraph account (cyho0115). When you enter your PilotID you overwrite it with the ID from your navigraph account. So, you can change your ID by yourself back and forth as you want.

What FBW version do you use? The stable one? Have you ask the FBW in their discord?

PS: Please try to ā€œUNLINKā€ your account in the FBW EFB, remove your PilotID with the red-basket on the right side and after that try to ā€œLINKā€ your account again - I have tested the FBW EFB SimBrief Import and it works as expected - so it must anything else on your end

In the background, it refers to your system. My English is not good, so I use GOOGLE Translate. So the correct way to operate is that I only need to bind the navigraph and ignore the FBW SimBrief id field. It will synchronize the SimBrief data to my EFB by itself, right?
I am currently using the development version of FBW32. I used the stable version before and changed it when this problem occurred. I have reinstalled the latest version. I am located in China, so I have to use a VPN to perform Simbrief operations, otherwise I will not be able to open the web page. Is there a better way?

Yes, thatĀ“s the correct way ā€¦ you donĀ“t need any SimBriefID, when you have linked the FBW EFB with your account. So, link it and thatĀ“s it ā€¦ let the ID empty.

I have tested the integration with the stable version only ā€¦ possible, that there is really an issue with the dev-version.

Hm, in this case - no. When the VPN connection is stable enough and donĀ“t block any IPs it should work. IĀ“m affraid, I donĀ“t have any better solution for this situation.

As Derek mentioned, possible the FBW guys can look deeper into it - we ā€œonlyā€ offer the API interfaces, but the core integration will be done by the 3rd party devs - in this case FBW.
