My latest flight plan is in the Window, BUT

My download directory window has no information in it. If I hit the reload icon, a window appears saying “flight plan available”. If I click that I’m told “no formats selected” In short, it doesn’t behave the way the You Tube video by SimelyBob’s did, or does. I only recently became aware of this feature and was excited I wouldn’t have to type in every wp across the Atlantic or Pacific as I have been doing for 15 years.

Hi…,

Please provide the steps you are taking in detail and what you expect . Please provide screenshots using Guide to posting Screenshots

Clicking on “Flight Plan Downloads”, I select “Download” on the Zibo line. Clicking on “Download” yields a map of my neighborhood.

Forgot to include Simbrief Downloader. When JFK-HHR was earlier in the box, the space next to “Download Directory” was similarly unpopulated.

In SimBrief Downloader, use image button to navigate to your X-Plane 12 \Output\FMS plans

Set SimBrief Downloader Program Settings to

Create and Generate SimBrief flight plan. You should see your flight plan in …\X-Plane 12\Output\FMS plans. e.g. ORIGDESN01
Enter the flight plan name ORIGDESN01 into FMC CO ROUTE.

Flight plan should load.

Thanks! First thing in the morning! I’ll let you know!

Correctly configured settings are indeed important; I had success, many thanks.

I believe my FMC should display “Flight Plan Request” 3 button from top on right side? after engines running on runway.

Data In Place

Not sure how Boeings work in that regards, but on Airbus, when the engines are running, INIT REQUEST sends the route to the secondary flight plan. It’s possible that when the engines are running, the Boeing flight plan request functionality also works a little differently?

You might get better and/or more help asking in the Zibo sub-forum as well?
