MSFS2024: Navigraph hub fails to update nav data

  1. I positioned My Community and Community2024 folders in a directory I created earlier at the root of D drive just after installing MSFS 2024 and before installing any add on aircraft.
  2. I flew TFDi MD-11 from VGHS to VGSY with old/default FMS nav data.
  3. I can’t update Navigraph FMS nav data for certain add on aircraft i e TFDi MD-11. If I click on install, a window pops up saying: ‘Operation Failed’. Ref. attached photo. Please help.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing the screenshot.

Please ensure that the path to the MSFS community folder is correctly specified in the UserCfg.opt file. This file can be found at:
C:\Users\**USERNAME**\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community

Remember, this path is just for reference. You need to verify that the InstalledPackagesPath matches your community folder’s actual location.

If you continue to experience issues, please let us know.

Thank you!

Dear Vishal:

Thanks for coming in!

By the way, aren’t we talking about MSFS 2024? The file/folder arrangements are different than msfs2020.

Regards,

Haseen Ahmad.

Another few things to try here also:

  • Make sure the TDFi MD-11 is updated. Refer to TDFi’s website for this in case any new updates have been released.
  • Launch the MD-11 at least once with the new community folder location. This will create the neccessary work folder that Hub is looking for.
  • Retry updating the add-on with Hub.

Please upload the main.log usingimage after trying these.

Cheers
Ian

Dear Ian,

I chose the tab msfs 2020 by slip. Now I selected msfs 2024 and ok now.
Thanks a lot!

Haseen Ahmad.
