MSFS 2024 missing waypoints in built in GPS. Have followed the FAQ instructions

Hello,

I am having the issue where on the built in GPS’s, are missing waypoints and are having wonky behaviors with approaches. If I choose a plane with a TDS GTN, everything is good. If I look at the Navigraph app on the EFB, the waypoints are there. They do not show up in the GNS430 or 1000 in the default 172.

I have the Steam version of MSFS 2024. I have uninstalled it and completely deleted the AppData directory. I have reinstalled and have nothing but Navigraph in the community folder. I have deleted the Content file as the FAQ instructs. None of this seems to be working.

What else can I try?

Thanks!

Ok, I have solved the problem for myself. I went into the marketplace into “My Library”. I selected everything and disabled it. I reenabled the 172(SP). It works!! No idea what the conflict is. All I have is the version upgrade packs and the free earth/city packs. Hope this helps someone else.

Hi…,

Welcome

Thank you for posting your solution, which should help others.

Hi,
Is it possible for you to upload your content.xml file here so we can check it?

Normally this happens due to an incompatible 3rd-party package (see FAQ), but since you wrote you don’t have any 3rd-party packages installed, I’m curious what the reason was …

Thank you
Richard

Here it is. I now see that there are a bunch of 3rd party packages in here that I forgot about. I suspect it is one of them. Right now, I’m just trying to study for my IFR check ride and I have it working so I’m not going to mess with it.
