Moving maps on android, Xbox, and flightFX Honda jet

Hi, I’m new to this. I’m on XBox series X and I read on another post that when flying the FlightFX Honda Jet I can get the moving map to keep track of where the jet is on my phone. I can get connected to simbrief in the jet and the map shows up on the MFD ok and it obviously tracks there but when I click on the triangle icon (plane position) in navigraph on PC or android it say “could not connect to simulator. SimLink needs to be running”. SimLink is running on my PC. What am I missing, or am I missunderstanding that jet location ( moving map) is possible on android or PC when running MSFS2020 on XBox series X? Previously I did run MSFS2020 on my PC and it tracked on moving map just fine. It just isn’t a good enough PC so I switch to Xbox.

Hi…,

The FlightFX Hjet has integrated Simlink providing Moving Map in Charts on your android.
You don’t need Simlink on your PC. Indeed I would try uninstalling or stopping Simlink on the PC.

For instructions please see Navigraph Blog:

Seamless Moving Maps Integration for Ultimate Xbox Versatility

The integration of Simlink with the FlightFX HJet for Xbox takes your experience even further. Simlink enables you to display your simulator’s position on the Navigraph Charts app. The app is available on iOS and Android devices, desktops, and even in your browser via charts.navigraph.com. Setting up this feature is a breeze – simply access the Simlink page on the touchscreen controller via MFD Home/Utilities/Setup/Navigraph Settings. By transmitting your position, you unlock the moving maps feature across all our Charts apps. Ensure that you log in to the Charts app with the same Navigraph account used to access the avionics plugin on Xbox. This feature is also available in the Vision Jet from FlightFX.
