Moving Maps - Incorrect position in Firefox

Hi there,

I have an issue with moving maps - my position is always displayed as somewhere over the Indian ocean, halfway between Sri Lanka and Indonesia.

The issue is only present in Firefox on a specific machine - position displayed correctly on other devices and browsers, as well as in the private mode of the Firefox on the same machine.

Troubleshooting done:

• Simlink is up and running (obviously, as it’s displayed correctly on the other devices)
• Made sure I’m logged using the same account
• Completely cleaned cache and cookies several times

Any ideas?

Welcome.

Please again clear any caches in Firefox as per Wrong location for my Sim - #10 by skysail, and restart machine.

Otherwise suggest you try a complete reinstall :

• See FAQ - Simlink Install and Systray

• Please use specifically Windows Programs and Features to uninstall Simlink:

• 

• If they exist delete directories
  c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Simlink and
  c:\Program Files\Navigraph\Simlink.

• Then download and install latest Simlink .

• Restart computer

Hi Ian, thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, nothing mentioned above helped, as well as a bunch of other stuff I tried.

Reinstalling Firefox did the trick though - so issue is now resolved. Hope it will help someone in the future to solve it.
