I have installed the simlink and it installed correctly , however the moving map not working even though it’s on on the charts settings. What should I do. ?

Welcome.
I have reassembled your multiple posts into this one thread.
I suggest a fresh start using exact procedure below :
Please disable any Antivirus and firewall. Uninstall AV if needed.
Please use only Windows Programs and Features to uninstall Simlink and Charts:
- If they exist delete folders:
c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Simlink
c:\Program Files\Navigraph\Simlink
c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Charts c:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Programs\Navigraph Charts - Download and install latest Charts .
- Download and install latest Simlink .
If still an issue, please post latest c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Simlink\logs\simlink_xxxx.dlog

I can’t disable AV it’s very important to protect my full simulator, any other option ?
It supposed to work right away when installed why it’s complicated ?

Hi Ramy,
AV can sometimes cause problems. I suggested disabling AV for the duration of the install only, to eliminate that variable.
There are thousand’s of working installations, and this is one of a very small number with difficulties, which I am sure we shall resolve.
Please try the steps I have suggested.

Could you please advise me where to stop the AV and the fire wall ?
Second be advised that I have o ly download simlink on the main simulator computer and the charts on the ipad ,!
So do I have to also install the charts on the simulator computer or iPad is sufficient.
The whole idea is to have the ipad to be used for charts etc

Hi Ramy,
It depends on your AV, but most have a disable function. The firewall is typically a Windows 10 function which you access through Windows Security\Firewall & Network Protection.
You need Simlink running only on your FS machine. This feeds your coordinates to our servers. When you access Charts from our servers on say iPad our servers place your aircraft icon on the map based on your coordinates.
You don’t need to run Charts on your FS machine, but you can if you wish.

Please upload latest c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Simlink\logs\simlink_xxxx.dlog, not just screenshot. Also if able please check dll.xml has Simlink addons per Moving Maps @running simulatore could not be detected - #7 by vishalahir
If not comfortable doing this please advise.

I am having a similar problem upon installing Navigraph on my new laptop. It tells me that Simlink is running and I do get moving maps in AviTab but the following happens;
1.No High or low charts are among selections for Charts (only topo etc.)
2. No airport charts show when I choose AIRPORTS tab ( I get only 0 next to all procedures)
Attached is .json file. I cannot find where my Navigraph log is…thanks for you help
BTW, everything works fine on my desktop rig in my office

I ACTUALLY GOT IT! I had not linked avitab to navigrapgh
now i have all moving maps working!
