Any Time I try to activate moving map in the Navigraph Charts App or Desktop version, as well as the ingame panel of MSFS 2024 it says: Could not connect to simulator, Simlink needs to be running. Read more about simlink here.
Simlink Status also always says “navigraph simlink cannot detect a flight in your simulator”.
I reinstalled Navigraph Charts as well as simlink. I also relogged in both. Also ran as administrator. Also disabled firewall testwise.
Never had the problem unresolved before. Any Ideas?
EDIT: When I use the PMDG 737 in MSFS 2024 and have the charts linked to the 737 and opened in the EFB, everything is working fine. The Status in Simlink says: Broadcasted flight data to server successfully.
EDIT 2: Also when using an aircraft with the GTN 750 installed, it works as above.
EDIT 3: Also with the Fenix A320 the communication between Simlink and MSFS works fine, when the Navigraph account is linked to the FENIX.
… With Any other plane connection between MSFS and simlink/server doesent work.
Firstly, make absolutely sure you are logging into the correct account. If you have more than one account, please make sure that the subscribed account is logged into across all platforms (Navigraph Hub, Simlink, Charts etc)
Next, if you see any issues between Simlink and the simulator, please review the logs that Simlink collects. You can find this in the log section of the application. Any issue between both applications, the sim and Simlink will show up here.
Simlink’s connection isn’t aircraft-specific. Simlink sends the coords of your current aircraft to our servers. If you then run Navigraph Charts and display a map of your aircraft’s location, and select the moving map, you should see the magenta icon indicating your current location.
When I start any flight in MSFS 2024 with any aircraft EXCEPT PMDG, Fenix or GTN750 equipped one, the follwoing message appears and the moving map doesent work:
The same applies, as mentioned, when I use PMDG or FENIX. These aircraft or the GTN 750 must have something special that makes it suddenly work. It’s odd.
