Missing VOR/DMEs in PMDG 777F

Hello,
I already reached out to PMDG, they looked it up and responded, that the DME seems not to be in the navigraph/777 database.

It already happened to me multiple times for different VOR/DMEs but I only remember the DME from today:
EDDH, ALF(115.8)

The PMDG 777 shows “NOT IN DATA BASE”, if I receive the DME, it is shown correctly on my ND with the correct identifier. So it seems like that it’s inserted in the “MSFS AIRAC” but not inside the 777 AIRAC. Of course both are the newest available versions.

Looked related to YOW VOR Not In Database PMDG 777 for me but since PMDG wrote that it’s simply missing it might be on your side.

OP System: Windows 10
FS Version: MSFS2020
Add-on: PMDG 777F
AIRAC: 2504

Hi,
What you see on your ND is what the T7 has in their database. This has nothing to do with any data in MSFS.

My question is, where do you get the “NOT IN DATABASE” message? I guess this is a message on the FMC.

So, what do you do to get this message? Can you explain it in more detail and/or upload a screenshot so that we can see where this message comes from?

Thank you
Richard

Hi,
sorry for my short explanation, I thought it might be simple to see if it’s not in the db…

Yes, the message appears on the FMC while trying to insert ALF on VOR L.

After that I entered 115.8 (which is displayed then with “LAW” on the FMC)

and later with the correct ALF identifier on my ND. (LAW stays displayed on FMC)

ALF:

Hi,
Thank you very much, I can reproduce it, but this is not a navdata issue, it´s a PMDG issue in the FMC. It looks like they are looking for the wrong navaid.

The LAW (LAWICA) VORDME has the same frequency, 115.80, as the ALF DME. The FMC shows the wrong one, but on the ND you see the right one. So, there is a glitch somewhere in the lookup of the PMDG T7.

Please report this to PMDG so they can fix this - it´s not a navdata issue and we can´t do anything here. We offer only the data, but not the logic behind, and the data are correct for the LAW VorDme and also the ALF Dme.

Thank you very much,
Richard
