I am finding that Navigraph Charts doesn’t seem to include IAFs; there is an issue where X-Plane and MSFS show different available fixes for transitions, but I have also found that ForeFlight and XP essentially match, whereas MSFS is missing a fix, and Navigraph Charts is missing two, both IAFs.

I’m excluding XP and MSFS screenshots since Navigraph is the source for the sims and Charts, and ForeFlight is essentially official.

So not every IAF is a transition. If there’s a defined route into the approach, it shows as a transition “feeder route”. If it’s just a point you can start the approach from, it won’t.
If there’s a defined route (with course and altitude) into the approach, it’s a transition; if it’s just an IAF point, it’s not. Using “Final” option would mean skip feeder routes, go straight into approach.
MSFS dataset is customized. This is not an issue, these are coding rules based on the FAA. I know that Garmin does exactly the same (every IAF = a transition), possibly Foreflight does it too
