Missing Helicopter Procedures (SIDs/STARs) at EHKD - TDS GTNXi Pro

Hi everyone,

I’ve run into an issue and I’m hoping someone from the community or the Navigraph team can shed some light on it. All helicopter-specific procedures (SIDs, STARs, and Approaches) are completely missing at EHKD (Den Helder / De Kooy) when using the TDS GTNXi Pro in MSFS 2024.

I currently have the latest AIRAC cycle installed via the Navigraph Hub. To rule out any configuration issues on my end, I did some troubleshooting:

1. I confirmed that my TDS GTNXi Pro has the “Rotorcraft Support” correctly enabled.

2. I tested other airports/heliports to verify the data injection. For example, I just loaded up ENVR (Værøy Heliport in Norway), and I can successfully see and load its specific RNAV (GPS) approaches in the GTNXi PROC menu. This confirms my setup is fully capable of reading and displaying Navigraph’s COPTER/Heliport procedures perfectly.

Despite this, at EHKD, none of the specific offshore or copter procedures are available. I am aware of an older thread mentioning that X-Plane 12 has limitations with helicopter procedures, but since I am using MSFS 2024 with the TDS GTNXi (Garmin PC Trainer), that limitation shouldn’t apply here.

Has anyone else experienced this issue flying offshore out of EHKD? Any insights from the Navigraph team on a potential fix for a future AIRAC cycle would be hugely appreciated!

I have checked our database, and we have procedures in our source. Not sure why these procedures are not exported, but we will try to analyze the issue and fix it for the next AIRAC release. Thanks for the hint, we’ll try our best to fix it with the next cycle.

No worries, I have removed the solution flag, and I will inform you and set it again when it is fixed, because it is really a bug in our exporter, even when a small one, but worth fixing:slight_smile:

Thanks to you for the hint and the positive feedback… It was a bug since day 1 (since we included the helicopter data in the TDS). So, a very valuable hint, and therefore our decision to release a new revision to ensure that everything is working (as expected) for the new cycle.
