U08 Perkins is a small airport in Overton Nevada NE of Las Vegas. Perkins is commonly used as a training field and navigational fix for VFR flights from KVGT to KSGU. Though it is shown on the sectionals, U08 doesn’t seem to exist in SimBrief. Please fix this bug.
Hi,
please try the 4-letter ICAO code instead the 3–letter FAA code.
So for U08 - it’s KU08.
Cheers
Richard
Jepp doesnt have it; Jepp only carries generally IFR airports.
Per my Foreflight, there are only visual procedures.
You can still plan a (VFR, or IFR to VFR) flight there via Simbrief (this is the corresponding subforum) using KU08 though

Hi Richard,
Curiously, it seems Jeppesen always use the 3-letter code in its applications (JeppView, FliteStar) The same is true for Navigraph charts and addon databases. LIDO uses the 4-letter convention. My question is: do you know why SimBrief differs in this regard?
Hervé
Hi Herve,
We also have the three letter code in our source, but most of the past addons don’t accept 3-letter codes - specially the airliners. Therefore we add the K/C according the ARINC standard rules to 4-letter codes, so that such airports can also be used by the airline FMC/S …
Cheers
Richard
