This is true by every plan Simbrief calculates Todays example OMDB-EDDF with 777-200ER.
The Overview shows PLNTOF=54012. Trip=45166. When I subtract the trip from the TOF I should get an expected remaining fuel (=8846), right? The OFP however shows an expected remaining of 6.6 !! A huge difference. where did the 2.2tons go?
Hi, this is normal when using the DLH layout. The fuel figures in this layout are the minimum fuel at each waypoint (REFU = Required Fuel), not the estimated fuel as it is in most other layouts.
In your flight plan, the 2.2 ton discrepancy is equal to your contingency fuel (2258 kg for your flight), which is not considered to be part of the minimum fuel. Minimum fuel is the amount required to proceed from that waypoint to the destination, plus your alternate fuel, plus your final reserve.

I just tested the LIDO Layout. Great. The difference is gone.
