Maps are not loading

The last 2 days nothing I’ve done has fixed this issue. I’m using Win 10 and so far I’ve tried:

  • Syncing clock
  • Uninstall/Reinstall
  • Cleared cache
  • Flushed DNS
  • Reset network settings
  • Tried different DNS/ISP default

The web version is also not loading.

I tried from a mac connected to the same network and everything loaded successfully.

Also, adding to this, maps load fine inside the sim in the Fenix EFB.

Can you try a (free) VPN? Or a mobile hotspot perhaps?

I just tested with the built-in VPN in Edge and the web version loaded.

Reloaded with the VPN disabled and the issue returned.

This means that you are having network issues. They may be under your control if they are happening somewhere between your modem/router and your computer, but it could also be out of your control and in the hands of your ISP.

Regardless, this is unfortunately beyond the scope of what Navigraph has influence over. In order to narrow things down, you could:

  • Try a mobile hotspot (or just a different internet connection from your home setup in general) to rule out any router configuration issues

  • Wait (ISP issues like these happen every now and then and are usually fixed)

  • Reach out to your ISP and ask why you are no able to reach this URL: https://enroute.charts.api-v2.navigraph.com/style.json

Thanks for your reply!

Providing that URL was super helpful. I used it and managed to pinpoint the error to an obscure rule I didn’t know I had for a 3rd party app in Windows Firewall that was blocking outgoing connections.

It’s all loading fine now.
