Map color choices

I have seen many examples of the map representing colors of the terrain. How is this done? I cannot seem to find the option to"color" my map.

Michael,

If you select the VFR preset you get colored terrain by default:

Also in the IFR presets you can get terrain if you edit the “Base” option:
