LSZH SID ZUE3V wrong turn after ZH552

Good afternoon

The SID ZUE3V from LSZH Rwy 28 is incorrectly coded. According to ZH552/D6.5 KLO, a right turn is initiated instead of the correct left turn with intercept ZUE R231.

Thank you for checking.

(FS24, avionics, various aircraft tested with G1000, no other scenery loaded)

Hi,
Thank you for your report. I’m unsure if it is not an interpretation issue in the avionics framework, as we have the left turn in the data. When you try to do this, ex. In the FlyByWire A320 (which also uses the MSFS data), you see a correct flightpath. So the coding can’t be so wrong:

The same is true in our chart app, which uses the same data source, but again, it is a tricky coded procedure, and I will try to ask our data provider to get a clearer (and of course, more professional than mine) answer.

Cheers & thanks for the interesting report/question.

Thank you, Richard, for taking the time to respond to my inquiry.

I have tried various G1000 aircraft, and G3000 also ends up with the same result. Attached is a screenshot. At first, I thought there would be problems if I loaded the STAR from EDNY ZUE1F directly after the SID because it contains ZUE in both the SID and the STAR. However, the problem is isolated to the SID. I am curious to see if there are any findings that will lead to a solution. Fortunately, it is a conventional SID that can also be flown using raw data without an overlay.

Best regards, Jan

As I wrote before Jan, it seems an interpretation issue in the navigation framework underlying the MSFS; therefore, the same result occurs in the G1000/3000, and I can confirm it.

The reason for my assumption is that addons that don’t use this framework but the same data show the correct path.

But I will try to ask Jeppesen too.

Cheers
Richard
