Hey Guys,
All the H visual SID in LOWI are missing. Ive read the topics which are already open with that but they are unfortunetly locked so I can not reply.
So visual departures out of LOWI are indeed coded and I guess they should be in the Sim.
Please check the attached video. (Ignore the yellow line thats EOSID which is obviously not coded)

If you need more referneces just let me know.

Hi Niklas,
What you show here is a airline tailored dataset and not the standard/default what we use.
In the standard/default records according to the ARINC424 rules, you can´t code it due to the missing runway information (it´s only one point of three or four). You must add the runway information manually as your own leg path, and that’s what happened when you make such tailored procedures.
Hope that helps!
Cheers,
Richard
Those are probably Lido data shown in the FMC. Lido has them available as STD.
In certain situations its up to the providers whether they decide to include procedures as STD or only tailored.
In this case, the data are tailored (regardless of the provider) because, when you use the standard reported data from Austro Control, you can´t code it directly without adding legs.
Cheers,
Richard
Thats a pity but I also would say thats not AUA tailored thats in every LIDO DB. I will check that.
I´ll also check on our DA40 because that one should use a Jepp DB
As side question, is there any chance to use a real DB with Navigrpah or convert one?
All the best and thanks
What do you mean by real DB? We use the real-world Jeppesen data …
Second, do you have a DA40 with Jeppesen data? Are the DA40 not equipped with Garmin devices?
Cheers,
Richard
Sorry for the unclear expression but I mean is there a way to use a real Lido or Airline DB to convert for the Sim? For an extra payment ofcourse.
That is correct, still it should be the same public Database whithout any Airline Modification right, and I honestly thought that Database is provided by Jeppesen?
I think I saw it in there.
All the best Niklas
Hi Niklas,
No, the Garmin devices use their own data, not from Lido, Jeppesen, NavBlue, … it is like its own “data provider”. I don’t know precisely which source they are using, possibly a mix of their own.
Sorry, we can’t help here
Richard
I don’t know about the real units, but in the official Garmin GTN trainer app on iPad, you can select either a proprietary “Garmin” database covering North America or a Jeppesen database covering the world:
Regards,
Tim
P.S. the list of available procedures (the Trainer uses cycle 2310, using 2402 for Navigraph as that’s as far as my backups go):
ADIL2J GTN Trainer Jepp 2310 + Navigraph 2402
BREN2J GTN Trainer Jepp 2310 + Navigraph 2402
KOGO3J GTN Trainer Jepp 2310 + Navigraph 2402
KPT5J GTN Trainer Jepp 2310 + Navigraph 2402
* MOGT1R GTN Trainer Jepp 2310 only
MOGT3H GTN Trainer Jepp 2310 + Navigraph 2402
OBED3J GTN Trainer Jepp 2310 + Navigraph 2402
* RTT1R GTN Trainer Jepp 2310 only
RTT2Q GTN Trainer Jepp 2310 + Navigraph 2402
RTT3J GTN Trainer Jepp 2310 + Navigraph 2402
* RTT3X only Navigraph 2402
UNKE2J GTN Trainer Jepp 2310 + Navigraph 2402
P.S. #2 the “missing” approaches in Navigraph 2402 (MOGT1R, RTT1R) are RNAV so not sure why they are not coded. The approaches with visual maneuvering are absent from both databases.
