Lesson 8 traffic pattern 90 % but still did not pass?

I did the lesson 8 trafic pattern twice with 90% score and still did not pass? the traffic following section had base turn at 50 % but overall pass. Energy mangament had short and thershold 75% but regarded as fail. all other things 100%, grand score 90%

Why was this fail?

The issue is with the energy management section, threshold performance is exactly 75% however short final is 73%, which is 2% below the satisfactory mark. This caused the entire energy management section to fail.

To pass the lesson, you need to improve the short final approach to reach at least 75%.

Things to look out for

  • Airspeed control
  • Altitude glidepath management (pitch for airspeed, power for altitude)
  • Distance from the touchdown point (visualize where the wheels will touch the runway)

Practice these and this should give you a pass.
