Thanks for reporting, I have forwarded this to our development team.
I tried a lot of times, but I am not able to start the engine. In all other circumstances I can but not in this lesson. I tried the cold and the hot start but gave up. I give Mixt Full Rich when I hear the engine ignating.
Which simulator are you running? We need a little more information about the sim environment.
- MSFS2020 or 2024
- If it is MSFS2024, do you have Sim Update 5 Beta installed?
- Are you using any add-ons that could affect Academy?

I have MSFS 2020. Standard C172. Only using Mobiflight and popout manager. If I go to any place I can easily start from cold and dark. But I can’t do that taking lesson 10. I redid older lessons, stopped the engine. Went to dark and was able to start again very easyly
Could you try to disabling Mobiflight and popout manager. Also, double check that the Academy suggested keybinds are set correctly and nothing is double bound.
Essentially, these flightdeck items absolutely need to be set:
- Fuel Selector - Both
- Fuel Shut off - In
- Mixture - Rich
- Battery Master (ALT/BAT) - On
- Throttle - Crack 1 inch
- Magnetos - Start

Everything ok now My hardware setup showed fuel selecor both and the shutoff valve was in. In the virtual cockpit it was the other way around. It got out of sync with my hardware. As soon as that was synced everything went smooth. Thanks for your assistence.
