I know this has been brought up many times and one official reply was “We try to limit non essential options to improve reliability and reduce support. The bulk of the Navigraph Charts data is kept on the server, so the space used on the C drive is relatively small.”
Well this fails since most users are capable of selecting directories and it does not impact reliability. Many other apps seem to be able to do it without issues.
Another official reply asked why do we want to do it. Well C drives are generally smaller than other drives and even small installations add up over time and fill the drive and replacing C with a bigger drive is a major headache and pain.
At one time we had the ability to chose the install drive so please bring this back again.
