iniBuilds A380 profiles (RR/EA): maxcargo 10,300 lbs caps baggage – possible profile error + question about acdata override

Hi,

the official iniBuilds A380 Airliner profiles (“iniBuilds (MSFS) - A380 Airliner RR” and “… EA”) have maxcargo = 10,300 lbs (4,672 kg). All other weights in these profiles match the real A380-800 (OEW 628,000 lbs, MZFW 813,505 lbs, MTOW 1,267,658 lbs).

Because maxcargo covers baggage and freight together, OFPs with these profiles come out like this (484 passengers, 50 lbs per bag):

  • <weights><cargo> = 4,672 kg (exactly at the limit)
  • only 206 bags planned instead of 484
  • <freight_added> = 0

For comparison, the FlyByWire and LatinVFR A380 profiles have maxcargo = 0, meaning no limit. We have reported this to iniBuilds as well.

Two questions:

  1. Can this profile value be reviewed or corrected on your side?
  2. We generate OFPs through the API with acdata. SimBrief already takes our mzfw/mtow from acdata instead of the profile. Is maxcargo also supported as an acdata override? If yes, we could set a realistic limit ourselves until the profile is updated.
