Information mismatch between MSFS2024 and Navigraph

I am creating a flight between EGBO Wolverhampton and Milson airstrip AIRSTRIP INFORMATION – Milson Airstrip.

In MSFS, Milson is given the ICAO ref EGFT, while in Navigraph charts its shown as EG23.

When I import an flightplan ending in EG23, the MSFS flightplan shows my flight ending in Louth airstrip. Willow Farm Louth Airstrip | GB-0627 | Pilot info

Willow Farm Louth is depicted in charts, but doesn’t have a code.

It seems charts is correct here, but why is Milson wrong in MSFS?

The airport database in flight simulators is often manually updated and sometimes years out of date (or in some cases, downright inaccurate), whereas most of the data used by Navigraph is licensed from Jeppesen and should be quite accurate.

Unfortunately this can result in some mismatches like you are seeing now.

I am not quite sure what you can do to work around it as I rarely fly to such small airfields, but given time it’s possible someone else will have an idea.

Regards,

Tim
