Hey,
I flew into Little Rock, Arkansas yesterday with the PMDG Boeing 737-700 in MSFS 2024. I put in the correct approach, being the ILS to runway 04R, I tuned the correct frequency (111.30) was at the correct altitude in order to intercept localizer and glide slope. Even though the aircraft captured the ILS DME, only FAC and G/P were activated, as if I put in the RNAV approach, which I did not. I contacted PMDG about it and they couldn’t really help out and told me to ask around at Navigraph, whether it’s a navdata issue. Maybe y’all could check on whether there is something wrong with the navdata.
Thanks!
Hi,
Thank you for your report - I´m a little bit confused … How should we set the FAC/GP instead of the LOC/GS? We only offer the data behind, but not the logic about the signals …
I have checked the PMDG database, and we have two approaches for 04R. One ILS and one RNAV approach. The legs and their restriction are correct. So, I don´t see any navdata issue here. Sorry.
Cheers,
Richard
Okay, roger.
I thought it was worth asking!
No probs - it was a valid question, of course. The systems are partly very complex behind, and everything can happen, everywhere
Happy weekend, and enjoy your PMDG - safe flights …
