Implementation of tools useful for VFR navigation when using Navigaph Chart with a flight simulator

I would like to suggest three tools to enable more challenging VFR navigation when using Navigraph Chart with a simulator. This is also to learn how to navigate using the basic “heading and time” method without using GPS.

  1. The ability to display reference marks along the route that represent time based on ground speed.

  2. A tool that allows to calculate the radial and distance of each point on the chart relative to a VOR.

  3. A button that allows to turn the aircraft symbol display on and off while navigating with a simulator connected via Simlink.
