The airport of Liege EBLG has 2 different ILS procedures per runway, one for Cat A and B aircraft, and one for cat C and D aircraft. The procedures for the cat A and B are missing in the list of GPS procedures. They are listed in the charts though. Greetings
Hi,
And welcome at Navigraph.
I have looked into the ILS 04 approaches and I see all different IAFs/Transitions for all CATs.
ILS 04 CAT A+B:
ALH1Y/Z
ILS 04 for CAT C+D:
OSTAT
EVSEN
So, both approaches (for the different CATs) are included according the charts, or do I misunderstood you here?
Cheers,
Richard

The ILS 04R for category A/B aircraft depicted on the Jeppesen 11-2 chart for EBLG has the following waypoint sequence instead:
ALHUV
ABLAZ
PIZVE
KAQZI
[…]
…this waypoint sequence (and the final approach from KAQZI) do not seem to exist in the Navigraph database, as far as I can tell?
Regards,
Tim
Hi Tim,
we are speaking here from the MSFS and not from X-Plane … In MSFS we generate for every IAF a own transition therefore you see the transitions in MSFS but not in X-Plane. So to avoid confusion, please don´t compare the X-Plane data with the MSFS data
Cheers,
Richard
Fair enough. I am not at my PC right now so I cannot easily check MSFS data. But:
In MSFS, do these transitions actually have the category A/B waypoint sequence depicted on the 11-2 chart (ALHUV ABLAZ PIZVE KAQZI)?
Regards,
Tim
Let me check this Tim …
Cheers,
Richard
The ALH1Y has following sequence:
ALHUV
LITPO
OSTAT
TUTSO
… and the ALH1Z has:
ALHUV
NEPIV
EVSEN
TUTSO
So both are the RNAV transitions to the final. The ALHUV
IAF is “missing” than and therefore the CAT A&B part via KAQZI
. I think we should ask Jeppesen
Thank you,
Richard
I am using FS2020 with TDS software for the GTN. When selecting the ILS04R, I can either choose EVSEN or OSTAT for the transition. Choosing either brings up the ILS 04R Cat C & D including TUTSO. The ILS 04R Cat A & B have ALHUV, ABLAZ,PIZVE AND KAQZI which are not available among the procedures. This one is the only missing, all other procedures are there.
Greetings,
Marnix
