Hi,
Installed latest Airac cycle through Navigraph Hub - including iFLY 737 addon. Not showing updated on FMC
UPDATE: This is for MSFS2024. When I try mapping to community folder using FMS Manager (Navdata - Permanent) It then creates a duplicate permanent folder within the permanent folder (C:\Users\PC\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\Packages\Community\ifly-aircraft-737max8\Data\navdata\Permanent\Permanent)
Hi,
The iFly736 is not an official release for MSFS2024 (only as experimental) and therefore is not currently included in the Hub.
We can add it to the Hub as soon as it is released and we have the official “go” from the iFly devs. Since SU3, there have been a few new requirements for the location of the navdata files (which must be stored in the work folder) to work correctly.
Cheers
Richard
Hi,
Thanks so much for getting back
If i understand you correctly, at this time because of SUS3, the iFly 737 MAX is unable to have the airac updated until you get the go ahead from the devs.
Do we have any sort of anticipated time line for this and should we watch this thread for an update ?
Not from our side; that’s more of a question for iFly. We need a few hours to add it to the Hub, but iFly must change the navdata path location, and that’s not our place.
Cheers
Richard
Hi Richard,
Completely understood
For hose stumbling upon this is the future, if there has not yet been a fix here is the work around - highlighting what Richard mentioned about work folder
Navigate the Open Data Folder via iFly Manager → Manage Product → Open Data Folder
From here you will know what path you need
e.g C:\Users*username*\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\WASM\MSFS2020\ifly-aircraft-737max8\work\navdata
Head to the FMS Data Manager and map the addon to that path. ( Actually navigate to it in FMS Data Manager and not paste it). Make sure to hit save and then update from your addon list
Enjoy !
The problem is that the current iFly 737 Max for 2024 reads the navdata from the community path, not the working folder. That´s exactly what iFly must change first. There is no workaround at the moment, or I have misunderstood something here.
Copying/installing the data in the MSFS2024 work folder is not enough—the add-on must also read the data from this location.
Cheers,
Richard
PS: or read the MSFS2024 version of the data from the MSFS2020 work folder?
probably the best work around right now til they update the paths

Hi,
We were informed by iFly that the Hub works as expected, and all my concerns about a possible wrong path were incorrect. I’m sorry for this.
iFly has posted a statement about this, where they confirmed that the Hub installs the data correctly into the correct folder structure. If it is still not working something is wrong with your iFly737 Max installtion and they recommend reinstalling the iFly737 Max with the latest version, installing the latest Hub version and/or your whole sim.
Here is the statement from their Discord:
Sorry for the incorrect information from my side
Richard
