I have two simulators on the same pc (WIN10 etc.):
1 x P3D v5.4 and PMDG 737NGXu. I install the AIRAC 2412 manually.
1 x MSFS2020 and PMDG 737-900. I install the AIRAC 2412 with the Navigraph Hub.
When I enter a flightplan from LSZH via WIL, FRI, SPR and LSGG on my P3D-Simulator, I get the option for a selection at WILL (one in Switzerland, one I think in US) and at FRI (one in Switzerland, one I think in US). If I choose the waypoints in Switzerland, everything is ok. The flightplan is at about 150 NM long.
When I enter the same flightplan from LSZH via WIL, FRI, SPR and LSGG on my MSFS2020-Simulator, I get no option (Switzerland or US) at WIL and FRI. The flightplan was then over 10‘000 NM long and doesn’t work at all.
Why is there a difference between the simulators? What can I do that the navigation works also in my MSFS2020-Simulator as it does on the P3D-Simulator? Do I miss something by using the Navigraph-Hub?
Thanks again for your very fast response. I appreciate that very much.
I think, that I got the reason for my issue. I also made a mistake with the names of the navaids: It was FRI and SPR (and not WIL and FRI). For that, I send you 3 ZIP-files.
P3D-AIRAC2411.zip
P3D-AIRAC2412.zip
FS2020-AIRAC2412.zip
The pictures in the zips shows the cdu-screens. The difference is not between the simulators. The difference is between the Navdata 2411 and 2412. In the 2 pictures of the navaid-data you can see, that FRI (in Switzerland) is missing in that one from 2412. Also the same situation for SPR. I don’t know, why the two navaids are missing in the data 2412. Perhaps you can find a solution for that.
Thank you very much for your support. I wish you a merry Christmas and then a good step in 2025.
