Why can’t we add an Approach ‘to Route’ from the Airports>Procedures section as well as from the Flights section?

The procedure list in the airport view is only meant to be used as an overview and can be used at any time - without any flight being loaded. Adding such a button can be done, but it is not what this menu was made for!
Is it less convenient to select the procedure from the flight screen?

I understand. . when flying, I often have the Airport page open for my destination for Comms, Weather etc and naturally click Procedures when it’s time to add the Approach but this doesn’t work and means I need to ‘find’ the page where I can add the Approach from. I think having the option to add from both sources makes more sense, yes.

Another quick usage scenario.
Planning a flight in Desktop App, open Airport page to check weather and then select Approach. Same problem, I cannot select the Approach!

You can still add the airport to your flight and assign procedures from there, you are not using the area of the app intended for adding procedures. As mentioned, we’ll consider your feedback for a future version, and I will note your additional use-case!
