Help with Simbrief

Hi,

I have a question about the SimBrief and would like to ask if you can help me with that. I am using the FENIX A320 in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

I am trying to add a flight route to MFS2020 from SimBrief. The departure airport ICAO is LIRF (25 runway) and the arrival airport ICAO is LGSA (29 runway). I am following an example on Youtube (Youtube video title: Real Airbus Pilot Flies the Fenix A320 Live! Rome to Crete MSFS). In the departure, he adds ‘SOSA5D’ as SID (35:50 in the youtube video). In Simbrief, I try to do the same in order to find the route he follows, however, I am not able to do it. I have also checked all the suggested routes, but I couldn’t find the SID. I do have the AIRCA Cycle 2208-current.

Thank you.

Hi…,

That video shows a SOS5D SID with PEPIX transition.

You can modify one of the suggested SimBrief flightplans to give you

SOSA5D PEPIX L50 TAGEL MASOT BELIX UM728 EBOKA UM978 PLH PLH1G

Note: I haven’t checked the video beyond beyond PEPIX, so the rest might not be as per video.

You may find it more convenient to create the flight in https://charts.navigraph.com/, export to MSFS or cut the flightplan text string and paste into SimBrief.

Cheers
Ian
