Hi all I fly helicopters in sim (MSFS2020) how can I enter these aircraft in flight plan to use with Vatsim?
You can’t. You have to pick a training airplane and modify it. This application does not recognize helicopters as actual aircraft or helicopter pilots as actual pilots. I fly H145 D3 and S-76c+ IRL and use HPG and Cowansim models often. These are professional-level aircraft and have have a professional-level sim model attributed to them. There is nothing confounding about helicopter flight plans, so no reason to not have them. At least foreflight doesn’t think so… not sure why, but navigraph has a huge hang up about helicopters, like they are not legitimate. Zero cost to create a generic profile. Years of asking for one. What gives?
