This afternoon I operated a flight to Barcelona. After landing, Ground instructed me to taxi to gate 76. I searched extensively, but I could not find gate 76 on any taxi chart or parking stand chart. After some troubleshooting, I determined that gate 76 corresponds to parking stand 118 on the parking stand chart. However, it is unclear to me how this correlation should be made based on the available charts.
By “ground”, do you mean:
- your simulator’s built-in ATC functionality?
- a third-party ATC application like Say Intentions or Beyond ATC?
- a real controller on a network such as VATSIM or IVAO?
Also, which simulator are you using, and do you have any third-party scenery installed for Barcelona/LEBL?
Regards,
Tim
I am using msfs2024, Mk-Studio for LEBL. And beyonedATC.
Thanks!
BATC uses in-game scenery information, so it could be that the 3rd-party scenery and/or the stock scenery is outdated.
Here from MSFS2024 - this gate does not exist in real:
We don’t have this gate #76 in our data, so this information must have come from outside. Please report this to BATC.
Cheers
Richard
