G1000 (Kodiak 100) no Flight Plan Catalog for SimBrief

I haven’t flown the Kodiak 100 in about three weeks- when I returned to it today in MSFS2024, the Flight Plan Catalog in the G1000 FPL section allowing me to import Simbrief plans was greyed out- it’s been working seamlessly before now. Plugin version is 2.1.2. All other plugins show as upto date. I note some comments in the Navigraph Discord discussing issues with the G3000 loading Simbrief, and that these are currently under investigation. Could my issue be related?

(As yet I have not tried a default aircraft with G1000 to see if this is aircraft specific or G1000 related or the plugin.)

(Edit: I can reproduce this issue in a default MSFS2024 Cessna running the G1000- Flight Plan Catalog is greyed out, so it is not an aircraft specific issue).

(Edit #2: In the Cessna which is a 2024 native aircraft, I can use the EFB SimBrief DIspatch to import a Flightplan and load it to the G1000. However, this doesn’t work in the Kodiak, presumably because it is still a “2020 Aircraft” and using a 2020 version of the WT Garmin; clicking “Import route” has no effect in the G1000. )

(Edit #3: It may or may not be relevant but despite having the Navigraph EFB Charts App v1.0.7 installed, it does not show up in the MSFS2024 EFB.)

Bump… Just wondering if this has posted properly so the right people see it?

Hello,

Many apologies for the delay in responding.

Unfortunately we cannot reproduce what you are seeing. Can you try the following:

  • Uninstall the G1000 plugin via Hub
  • Check your community folder that the plugin has indeed been removed and nothing remains.
  • Reinstall the G1000 plugin via Hub

An extra thing to check, sign out of the Navigraph integration via the G1000 and sign back in again.

Let us know how this goes.

Thanks!

Not sure where to find this- I can’t find any Navigraph settings on the G1000 but I am aware its menu system can be complicated!

Some guidance below, thanks!

Thank you- I don’t have Navigraph Settings as an option.

I think I’ve solved it. I looked in Marketplace>My Content, searched for Navigraph, and found that the AIRAC cycles and the SimBrief Dispatch for EFB were enabled, but, for some reason all the other Navigraph plugins were showing as disabled- I have no idea why, or how they became disabled, but reenabling them, and hey presto! (I’d have thought that deleting tjem and reinstalling them from the Navigraph Hub would have solved this?
Thank you for your help in trying to troubleshoot. Do you have any idea why the plugins became disabled? I found that some addon sceneries too have disabled themselves, not just those by Asobo/MS that I disabled to avoid conflicts with addon airports.

That would have been my next line of inquiry, excellent you checked the the “My Library” settings.

I’m not quite sure why that could have been disabled without your knowledge, however MSFS2024 does have a history of disabling previously enabled add-ons for system stability reasons. In this case, I am not quite sure!

I’m really glad you found the core issue, though!
