Hi, I wold like to know if there is a possibility with Simbrief that it calculate and propose a stopover for refueling, if the qty of fuel is not enough to join the destination. Simbrief indicate that the range of the flight is too long regarding the fuel capacity of the plane. It should be great that Simbrief automaticly suggest an airport for refueling. That means that Simbrief propose a APT adapted for the plane (right runway) and checked that there is the right fuel for the plane (Jet, airliner, GA,…). Is this function exist in Simbrief or if not it should be a great update. Thank you in advance for your reply. François (France)
In typical airline world, if there was a fuel stop that needed to be made, that’s something that the company would have to work out, so I don’t know how SimBrief would decide where to land. Additionally, you’d be needing to build two flight plans instead of one, the first flight plan for the refueling stop, and the second flight plan for the final destination.
