FMS Data not detecting addons

I tried to resolve this issue with a solution I found on this forum, unfortunately after following that it didn’t work for me.

My XP11 addons: Zibo, FF A320 and 757.
Op system: Win 10
Airac update: 2208 (latest)

Also in settings msfs didn’t appear.

Hi Amir,

Welcome.

For X-Plane 11 and Addons you need FMS Data Manager.

If you have difficulties using this please see FAQ - Installing Navdata AIRAC Updates or ask here detailing what you have done.
Screenshots help using Guide to posting Screenshots

For MSFS and addons please see FAQ - MSFS Navigraph Navdata Center

Hi Ian,

I hope you’re doing well.

Here’s a screenshot which could help explain the issue further.

As you can see my xp11 addons aren’t showing even though I have already scanned for them.

Hi Amir,

Make sure X-Plane is not running.

In FMS Data Manager Settings, check you are running latest Version 1.8.9.0421 . If not please download and install FMS Data Manager.

In FMS Data Manager Settings, check your X-Plane 11 path is correct, by navigating to X-Plane.exe.

Maybe post a screenshot of X-Plane path there.

In Addon Mappings, delete entry X-Plane 11 (11.50+).

Press Scan. Are you now seeing entry X-Plane 11 (11.50+) ? Zibo uses X-Plane 11 data.

If yes, in Addon List please select X-Plane 11 (11.50+) and Update.

Do you have correct AIRAC details in Zibo Ident page?

Do you have FF A320Ultimate and X-Plane GNS430, FF757 … addons items ? If not, you will need to +Add them in Addon Mappings. Let me know if you need assistance .

Cheers
Ian

I can confirm XP11 wasn’t running and that I was using the latest version of FMS data manager.

Here’s my xp11 path:
xp11 path

I then followed your procedure and my zibo seems to have the correct AIRAC details:
iAo4w48M6A

As for the FFA320, FF 757 and XP GNS430, they didn’t appear. How will I add them?

Thank you,
Amir

Oops, my apologies.

So the FF757’s ident looks good to me now. However, the FFA320’s nav data hasn’t been updated.

I appreciate your support,
Amir

Hi Amir,

Please provide a screenshot of your directory showing where FlightFactor A320 Ultimate is installed, something like:

and also a screenshot of inside the FlightFactor A320 Ultimate directory:

and also the data subdirectory

Hi Ian,

I think this should be good.

After comparing our folders I realised there is a duplicate data folder. Let me know what to do.

(I forgot to post these)

Hi Amir,

Making sure you retain the folders, move the contents of
m:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\FlightFactor A320 Ultimate\FF A320 to
m:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\FlightFactor A320 Ultimate

You can then delete folder which should be empty:
m:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\FlightFactor A320 Ultimate\FF A320

In Addon List, you may need to re select and Update entry FlightFactor A320Ultimate.

Cheers
Ian

Unfortunately, it didn’t work. Perhaps a reinstall of the FFA320 may work?

Yes and make sure you install to m:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Aircraft so you end up with structure similar to mine above.

Cheers
Ian

Will do when I’m able to and I’ll let you know the result.

Thank you.

A fresh reinstall of the FF A320 worked.

I really appreciate your patience and support Ian.
