Error 400 During Route Export

Hi all,

I get Error 400 whenever I am trying to export flight plans. This happens when exporting as a file or to avionics. The in sim toolbar will load routes to G1000 with no issues. I have viewed numerous posts on the forums with no solutions.

The created routes are Water Aerodrome to Water Aerodrome with VFR waypoints.

Thanks for your support.

After a PC restart and a new Navigraph instance, I get the same error 400 with this route when I attempt to export as FS2024 type plan. Exports as FS2020 OK but without detail such as runways, approaches etc.

KALO/30 DCT KMCW/AREDA.R36

A restart of Navigraph doesn’t make the error 400 go away. Also if you unload all routes from Navigraph then paste this route (above) in the top blank line provided for routes, then try to export as FS2024 type plan, for me, I get Error 400.

A few days ago, I didn’t have this problem.

And to deepen the mystery more, I get an Error 400 if I try to export as FS2024 this simplified plan:

KALO DCT KMCW

Weirder still, if I let Navigraph “autoroute” this above simple route, I can then export as FS2024.

Navigraph creates KALOKMCW_M24_26Aug25.pln which contains KALO DCT SEATS V120 MCW V161 KEFGO DCT KMCW”

I cleaned the 26Aug25.pln up by adding runways and an arrival approach which exports as:

KALO/30 DCT SEATS V120 KMCW/AREDA.R30

Strange and it’s not even Thursday.

It appears that using Navigraph’s AutoRoute facility will clear the route so the plan can be exported as a FS2024.pln. You may have clean up the “autorouted” plan but at least it exports without Error 400

Hello! Thank you for the feedback!

What these two have in common is that they are missing an enroute endpoint, which is required in order to export the MSFS 2024 PLN file. Adding an endpoint to your route fixes the issue, which is why autorouting works.

@BaseToFinal Would you mind posting your full route? Go to the export tab and press “Copy to clipboard”. This way I can try to reproduce the issue!

Kind Regards,
Malte

Thank you Malte, I never would have guessed that “adding an end point” was a fix for my Error 400 conundrum .

I have now been using autoroute exclusively. After autoroute has completed, I check for anything irrational such as a loop back and fix if necessary. Usually autoroute’s output doesn’t require revision.
