Loading the flight plan while in the cockpit results in an empty Navlog screen (panel, window…). If I load the flightplan from the menu, the route does appear on the Navlog screen. 
Closing and reopening the NAVLOG window does not correct this.

Looking into this and the logic behind the navlog is sort of a black box - the sim instructs it to populate. I don’t really think there is a proper way to fix this without overwriting it, which we aren’t going to do. So unfortunately unless Asobo changes the navlog logic this won’t be “fixed”.
A quick google shows that others have similar issues with the navlog (not using SimBrief)
