EIDL wrong runways and missing procedures

Hello,

Earlier today I flew into EIDL in MSFS with the Phenom 300.

On Navigraph Charts, EIDL is shown with runway 02/20 and the associated procedures are available, including:

  • RNP RWY 02
  • RNP RWY 20
  • LOC RWY 20
  • Other published procedures

However, in the aircraft FMS (which is updated to the latest AIRAC cycle and matches Navigraph’s cycle), the airport appears with runway 03/21 instead. As a result, no instrument procedures are available and only the Visual Approaches for RWY 03 and RWY 21 are listed.

Could you please explain the reason for this discrepancy between Navigraph and the aircraft database/MSFS?

Is this related to the airport scenery or simulator navdata, and is there any plan for this to be corrected in a future update?

Hi Hugo,
Exactly, we may not change the default/stock scenery 8bformation even when we would. That means, when the runway idents are outdated in the sim, this can only be fixed by MS/ASOBO.

So, this is a scenery-related issue and not a navdata issue. That is exactly why major add-on developers like Fenix, PMDG, Just Flight, TDS, etc., use their own databases rather than the in-game database to avoid such situations.

Hope that helps, but please report the outdated eunway idents to MS/ASOBO.
