Not sure if I’m misunderstanding here - any help appreciated…
I used SimBrief to route from EGGP to EGPE - the route terminated at WPT GUSSI. When I try to select an approach into RWY05 (ILS05 via the INBA1 or INBA2 transitions) I get issues as the approaches start at WPT INBAS way before GUSSI (note: GUSSI is on the approach path/chart)
Once I’ve selected the approach in Navigraph, I find the approach overlaps the route (the A320 V2 I was using didn’t appreciate the confusion…).
If I use Autoroute in Navigraph instead, the route terminates at WPT LAGAV, skipping the first two WPTs of the approach.
Any help or pointers on how to handle appreciated.
There are two UK Standard Routes published for the EGGP-EGPE pair, selection dependant upon altitude flown:
EGGP
POL
195
245
N601 TLA DCT GOW N560 NESDI DCT GUSSI DCT INS
EGGP
POL
255
660
UN601 TLA FOYLE N560 NESDI DCT GUSSI DCT
Assuming the latter arriving at GUSSI INBA2 transition would be selected for a Cat C aircraft as published on the chart. As the transition commences at INBAS you would need to modify the leg entries in the MCDU accordingly.
The arc arrivals are on request from ATC, most likely in reality vectored anyway.
I’ve realised the issue is with missing/outdated transitions with the MSFS data I have to use on the XBox - all appear on my PC as you might expect with the Navigraph data installed.
Just one question, would you happen to know what a small arrow pointing right next to a waypoint on the F-PLN means as show here (example from my PC on the Inibuilds A320 V2)?
