WIth the new SU5 I cannpt select the charts at the bottom of the EFB in VR mode. I only fly in VR so now this is totally unusable if I cannot select charts. The EFB comes up, and if I select an airport, then at the bottom there is the tab for the airport showing the little tabs for all the different types of charts. However if I click on the SID, or Taxi, or STAR, or Approach charts tabs (or any of those tabs) then the available charts for those would normally show down below that. Well now they dont and there is no slider bar to the right to drag down to see what is available. If I try to drag the entire airport tab upward to see what is there, then I can see some charts available but the tab is stuck to the mouse pointer and I cannot leave it up. When I take the pointer down to click on an available chart, then so does the tab move down.
See video.
Not sure if this an MSFS/Asobo issue or if Navigraph needs to fix this, but it happened today after the new SU5.
So basically I cannot choose or select charts anymore in the EFB while I am in VR (which is how I fly 100% of the time). Totally useless.
Ok I am about to ask for my money back from Navigraph. None of your charts are available in the EFB now. Not sure if it’s MS or Asobo’s fault with the new SU5 or something you can fix Navigraph, but the result is the same to me. In VR I can no longer see or pull up or even find charts in the EFB. What good is this to me? I am paying a subsciption that I can’t even use!
See video. This is Shepherd AFB. They have charts. I’ve used them in MSFS24 and Navigraph before. Recently, but now there is nothing. I have no way of pulling up any charts with Navigraph in VR with the EFB now.
For me, with SU%, in VR .. the EFB no longer shows my waypoints. When I switch out of VR, I see the waypoints, on the EFB (with the EFB zoomed, in our out) .. soon as I switch to VR, the waypoints aren’t there .. Also, when you have Navigraph chosen on the EFB .. when you zoom the EFB in or out, there is a .. flicker, and 1/2 second of jerkyness. This does not happen when you have the Flight planner selected on the EFB. Then, in VR, the EFB zooms in and out just fine. Note: the map still moves correctly, the plane icon moves .. just no waypoints .. in VR
Ok thank you but I know that Navigraph needs to fix this. Yes it is likely an Asobo/MS problem with the roll out of SU5 but now the Navigraph charts in the EFB using VR does not work and has no chart funcionality. I am pretty sure you’ll have to update the Navigraph EFB Charts app verson 1.0.7 to be now funcional with the SIm Update 5.
Either that, or I just look for another way to get airport info, charts, plates, frequencies, etc. while I am in VR (which is 100% how I fly). Then I cancel my subscription to Navigraph since it is useless in VR now (with SU5)
I have the same issue Quest 3. You state you cannot reproduce this? Can you please then show a video of how you are selecting a chart in VR because I’m having the exact same issue at the original poster.
Any progress on showing how you can access charts in the efb while using vr? The support team stated they are able to do this, and yet customers in this thread, including myself, have stated they cannot. The video at the beginning of this thread shows the exact issue we are having. I’d like to see a video from navigraph demonstrating that it is indeed working and how to access charts. Either that, or needs to be a logged bug that gets addressed. Thank you.
It is possible but very tricky and has to be precise.Find the airport you need and click on it. Then the slider page at the bottom you have to drag up all the way to the top. However it doesn’t go to the top. So you just click and hold down the mouse button and drag it all the way up as far as you can and just move the mouse up above the tablet/EFB. Then it may stay where it is at. If it stays there instead of dropping back down then you just put the mouse at the very top of the tablet/EFB and click there and then the page just moves up to the screen. Then you can open any charts, for that airport. (see quick video)
Apologies for the radio silence here, we are considering ways to approach the app however it is very tricky, considering how the EFB works in VR. We are continuing the investigation.
